Student: (in a non-chalant tone)
"I'm glad I don't have a doctor's appointment today. I got it on the 40th."
Me: (chuckling)
"There is no 40th of the month."
Student: (first confusion, then denial)
"Yes there is!!!"
(child abruptly exits scene by running off to play)
